Emil serves as the Workers Compensation and Terrorism Practice Leader at Guy Carpenter. He is responsible for overseeing the delivery of workers compensation placements and products (including catastrophe, per person, and terror-specific coverages) and related services to the firm’s clients.
Emil has presented and published several articles on workers compensation topics including “Thinking about Revising Your WC Underwriting Policies? You’d Better Start Now,” “Workers’ Comp Reserve Risk: Is It the Cat Lurking on Your Balance Sheet?” and “Terrorism (Re)insurance in a Changing World.” Prior to joining Guy Carpenter 2001, he was a Workers Compensation Underwriter at a GE Capital Company and ACE.
Emil holds a BS in international business from New York University and an MBA degree in finance and management from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
