With deep expertise in the sport business and media sector, Tony leads organizations through change by building diverse, inclusive, effective leadership.
Tony finds satisfaction in working with bright, curious people and challenging both himself and the clients he works with – particularly during times of rapid change.
I was struck by the quality, humility, and authenticity of the people I met on the way into the Oliver Wyman. From top to bottom, the organization is of a size to make real impact with our clients and the markets they operate on.
Prior to Oliver Wyman, Tony held a variety of leadership and board roles in Europe and the Middle East, covering a wide spectrum of sectors. He advised corporates and governments on structure, executive alignment, and corporate partnerships.
A naturally curious person, Tony seeks to understand the facts in order to creatively look at sustainable solutions. This has served him well as a consultant, as no client’s problem is ever solved with the same solution.
A career turning point for me was realizing that I was happiest leading teams to achieve a common objective rather than striving for personal career advancement.
Away from his desk, Tony has numerous hobbies: He’s a keen cyclist and club member of VCC in St Albans, a former vocalist and bass player with a few singles and CDs in his name, a football fan of Birmingham City, an avid reader, and a travel enthusiast. Most importantly, he is the husband of a writer and dad to three grown children as well as two dogs.
