Marsh McLennan Named to World’s Most Admired Companies List

Marsh McLennan has been named to the 2023 Fortune World’s Most Admired Companies list. We placed in the top 200 overall and were cited as one of the most admired companies in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry.

This recognition reflects the exceptional talent and hard work of our more than 85,000 colleagues, across Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Mercer and Oliver Wyman, who work diligently to help clients find new possibilities and support their communities all around the world. They follow in a 150-year tradition of our shared enterprise working to address the challenges of the times and to make a difference in the moments that matter for clients, communities and each other.

To produce this year’s corporate reputation survey, Fortune collaborated with Korn Ferry, who asked executives, directors and analysts to rate enterprises on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent.

They began with a universe of about 1,500 candidates: the 1,000 largest US companies ranked by revenue, along with non-US companies in the Fortune Global 500 database that have revenues of $10 billion or more. They win­nowed the assortment to the highest-revenue companies in each industry, a total of 645 in 27 countries. The top-rated companies were picked from that pool of 645, and we are proud to be among them.
